Obituary On the morning of Wednesday May 17, 1944, the sun rose for John Wesley Morgan, Jr. in Fayetteville, Georgia. He was formerly employed as an assembler at Weavexx. "He did everything you could do in the business, except take pictures." She was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Strickland. Charles Preston Monschke, 76, of Krum entered the kingdom of heaven on April 21, 2023. As a student, he was an avid tennis player and lost only one match during his four years on the College's tennis team. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Leland Mabry and son-in-law, Alan Evans. From 1941 through 1945, Elsie and her husband worked at Wright's Ammunition in Durham. Mr. Murrell is survived by a daughter, Sabrina Murrell-Brinson of Wake Forest; two grandchildren, Precious and Demetrius Brinson, both of Wake Forest; three sisters, Ellen Crouell of Trenton; Glenda Simmons of New Bern; and Linda Murrell of Trenton; two brothers, Johnny Murrell of Brooklyn, N.Y. and David Murrell of Pamlico; one great-aunt, Nina Thompson of Kinston; two aunts, Theresa Murrell and Dora Miller, both of Trenton; two uncles, Fred Murrell of Pollockville and McKinley Murrell of Trenton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and other loving relatives and friends. He was a long-time member of Glen Royal Baptist Church where he served in numerous capacities including deacon and Sunday school secretary and was instrumental in organizing and running the bus ministry program. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Rocky Mount. CHAMPION, Kathy Ann, Female, d. 1/11/2013, Kathy Ann Champion, 52, of Wake Forest, died Friday, January 11, 2013 at Wake Med.
